I've discovered something interesting about Winston.

The moment I open a book, he suddenly decides that wherever I'm sitting is the most comfortable place in the entire house.

He'll let me read exactly one chapter before slowly inching closer...until somehow half of my lap belongs to him.

I'm still trying to figure out how a bulldog who weighs far more than he realizes can believe he's a lap dog.

But honestly...

I wouldn't change a thing.

Keep a cozy dog bed nearby, add a favorite blanket, and make sure fresh water is within easy reach.
